Asst. Prof. Fatih ÇOLAK

He was born in 1985 in Adapazarı, Sakarya. He graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty
of Medicine in 2009. In 2009, he worked as health center doctor in Kars, at Akyaka, Cebeci village
health center for a few months. In 2010, he started his specialization in Urology at Karadeniz
Technical University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology. He completed his residency in 2016
and became urology expert. He accomplished his mandatory duty as a urology expert between 2016-
2018. In 2018 he began to work as an assistant professor at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of
Medicine, Department of Urology. He has still worked as an assistant professor at Karadeniz
Technical University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology. He has over 10 publications in the
field of urology in international journals. He is a member Society of Urological Surgery, Turkish
Association of Urology and Karadeniz Association of Urologists. President of the Karadeiz Association
of Urologists since 2016. In his lecture time, he fancy playing football, e-sports, reading book and
spending quality time with his family on road.

cases)
❖ Transrectal prostate biopsy for diagnosis prostate cancer
❖ Endoscopic and open surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia
❖ Open surgery for prostate cancer
❖ Endourologic treatment for bladder cancer and also open and laparoscopic surgery fore
more advanced bladder cancer
❖ Open and laparoscopic surgery for kidney cancer
❖ Open surgey for testis cancer and abdominal lymph node excision
❖ Varicocelectomy and tese/micro-tese for male infertility
❖ Functional urologic surgery
❖ Urological Trauma surgery
