CLINIC ACTIVITIES
I do my clinical activities at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine, Farabi Hospital,
Children’s Immunology and Allergy Diseases outpatient clinic. My main areas of study are children’s
allergy (Asthma, Allergic rhinitis, Atopic dermatitis, Besn-Drug-Bee venom allergy, Anaphylaxis,
Urticaria-Angioedema) and Child Immunology (Primary immunodeficiency diseases).
In addition to daily patient examination in the Pediatric Immunology and Allergy Diseases outpatient
clinic, the following procedures are performed routinely:
• Skin prick tests: Internal (house dust mites, molds, animal allergens, cockroaches) and
outdoor (meadow-grass-tree pollen, outdoor molds) with allergens, nutrients and drugs
• Food loading tests
• Drug loading tests
• Allergen specific immunotherapy (vaccine therapy)
• Respiratory function tests
• Bronchi warning tests with exercise
• Immune system screening tests
