Prof. Dr. Süleyman GUVEN

He was born in 1976 in Trabzon / Çaykara and graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty
of Medicine in 2000 as the fourth of the faculty. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology
residency training in 2004 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his advanced training on in vitro fertilization in
Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology,
Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Andrology Unit.
In 2006, he was appointed as an assistant professor to the Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Karadeniz Technical University. He passed the associate
professor exam in 2010 and got the title of associate professor. He became a professor at the
same university in 2015. In 2009, together with his colleagues, he established an IVF center
within the body of Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine. He works as a lecturer
in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the same faculty. He has over 200
international and national publications. He is married and has two children. He has a good
command of English. Basic interests; Female – male infertility treatment, IVF, uterine prolapse
surgery, female urinary incontinence surgery, endoscopic (hysteroscopy, laparoscopy) surgery,
minimal invasive uterine surgery (laparoscopic hysterectomy and histerescopy), high risk
pregnancy follow-up, female cancer surgery, ovarian cysts laparoscopic surgery, gynecology
tumors surgery, and prenatal invasive procedures .
